Best Amazon Items for Homeschooling your Child this Year

We decided to Homeschool our older daughter this year because she was having a hard time keeping up with regular school. During the preparations for Homeschooling, I was racking my brain and the internet trying to figure out the best products for creating a school in my home. I compiled an awesome list of things for you to take into consideration when bringing new things into your Homeschooling environment.

1. Homeschool Rolling Cart

Some of us do not have the luxury of creating or dedicating a full room to homeschooling like we wish we could. I know many families that homeschool at the kitchen table. This Rolling cart would be perfect for carrying all of the extra things with individual drawers for each and every assignment. This cart is fun and easy to use for adults and kids.

2. Homeschooling Expanding File Organizer

This Expanding File organizer is huge and perfect for people who do not want to invest in a filing cabinet *cough, cough* me. We need to record keep as homeschooling parents and this is the perfect filing organizer for that. It’s budget friendly and easy to use. I has 24 pockets and would be perfect next to a desk or on your homeschool Rolling cart.

3. Cute Mushroom Timer

My daughter struggles with keeping on task for a certain amount of time and this cute mushroom timer has set all of that at ease. Now I turn the timer for how long our class is going to take and when it goes off that means we are all done with that class time and it’s time to switch to something else. This timer is cute, and the bell doesn’t ring too terribly long so it’s not annoying. You can also use it for cooking or timed tests. It’s also not an eyesore like some timers I have seen.

4. The 180 days Workbooks for Homeschooling

I use a different curriculum, but I do like to supplement my curriculum with other workbooks. These 5th grade 180 days workbooks are amazing. I love the short and sweet lessons. Also, how each page has a day number on it. These are perfect for adding into or even building assignments off of. I love that the beginning gives you advice on how to use the book. All in all, this is perfect.

5. Epson Expression Premium XP 7100 Printer

This Epson Expression Premium Printer is awesome. I know printer shopping is mind boggling and down right annoying sometimes, but look no longer and just purchase this one. This printer has lasted me so long without having any issues. The quality is perfect for printing on cardstock and printing out color lessons. The ink has lasted me four months so far and I haven’t had to change it yet. I love how this is a wireless printer meaning it can connect to your phone for printing and it’s so easy to do. Hands down best printer! Don’t forget the ink! I personally just get the off brand ink and I have never had any trouble with it.

Extension to Number 5: Ink

This ink will save you a good $30. I do not need to spend $79 on ink. It just doesn’t make sense to me and spending that much is not in my budget. I do not print photos, only lessons and coloring pages on cardstock sometimes. This Ink works just perfect for someone who needs to print lessons.

6. Cute Pastel BIC Highlighters

I have my daughter highlight important text in her assignments and these are the vibrant highlighters that we use. I love that they are so bright, but not overwhelmingly so. She also likes how calm the colors are. It’s definitely worth having this BIC Pastel Highlighters.

7. Punch Cards for Homeschooling

Punch cards are a great way to make your child earn prizes and rewards. These cards are so cute and worth the purchase. Pair these with an adorable hole puncher, *chefs kiss*. We use our punch cards for outings like zoo, pumpkin patch, and Aquariums.

8. Dry Erase Markers

These Dry Erase markers pair perfectly with your Morning Menu that you created for your children. They can pick a color and go to town. These have the fine tip and write splendidly.

9. Dry Erase Boards

With your markers you need a Dry Erase Board and this one is perfect. It is less than five dollars and is a nice handheld board for your children to use when playing games, doing math problems or spelling quizzes.

10. Timed Test Books

Honestly, I love this timed test book. My daughter enjoys racing the time and this builds her confidence in math. The pages are numbered by days and the tests get more difficult as the days pass. 10/10 would recommend this product.

Overview

Homeschooling can be hard, but hopefully this list finds you and makes it a bit easier. As moms, we need to share the great things that we find online or in store. After all, it takes a Village, doesn’t it? Let’s create a healthy learning environment for all of our children. All of these products are perfect for starting your child on the journey to homeschool.
