When it rains, some parents struggle with having their children stay inside all day. That’s me, I’m some parents! Ha! So, I asked my kids for some help with a list of fun rainy-day activities. This is what they constructed: 

1. Dance in the rain 

2. Paint/color a picture 

3. Make desserts! 

4. Eat ice cream and chicken nuggets (Three-year-old approved). 

5. Make a fort! 

6. Watch movies 

7. Slide down the stairs 

8. Play hide and seek inside 

9. Play a game 

10. Make soap 

11. Have a freeze dance party

12. Play dress up 

13. Tea party 

14. Do a puzzle 

15. Make crafts 

I know having the kids cooped up inside all day is hard but try to create memories that they can look back on and smile at all the fun you had. We forget what it was like to be children and that is an issue for most parents. Just yesterday, I was thinking about when I was a kid and where it all went. Be in the moment with your kids, they need you there with them.
