Sometimes I imagine if my teapot could talk and what it would be like to not be so lonely. I think about all the things that I share with touching something or the thoughts that constantly race through my mind. Sure, my children are around, and that definitely is not a lonely world. But I think about what it would be like to share my exact thoughts with one particular thing. As crazy as that sounds, we all do it. Some people paint and splash their emotions and feelings around on a canvas with different colors. Or we do the washing and think about every small thought that has plagued our emotions.
I find comfort in a tiny single serving teapot that has flowers and birds painted ever so delicately on it. I am not completely sure if it is the Bergamot Tea that is with in this tiny teapot or maybe the floral fragrance and taste of the Lavendar syrup, but this teapot brings out my thoughts and feelings. It brings me a feeling of comfort and warmth, like a warm breezy summer day. Subtle floral sweetness helps me to relax my heart and mind, which in turn allows me to welcome the rush of thoughts that are on my heart. My teapot is a friend to me and a secret keeper. I know if my teapot could talk, she would, in fact, never “spill the tea.”
